Parador de Córdoba

“I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Great location with a view of the city. You feel like you are in a park. Excellent pool. The building is not new but it is well maintained. The room was large, with high ceilings and a separate wardrobe. Our terrace was large with a table and two sun loungers. Large parking. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. This is a place where you can relax from the city noise and tourists.”

“We stayed for one night and enjoyed our time here. It feels a bit on the mature / 65+ side which makes sense as their golf and tennis offer is a major draw for guests. We had lunch upon arriving which for the price wasn’t a steal. Something like 60€ for two appetizers and club sandwiches. The breakfast was a bit confusing and disorganized, 3 of the 4 coffeemakers were out of service and we had to reserve our breakfast time which felt stressful (you’re on vacation, you don’t want to have to set an alarm and reserve a slot at checkin). My only complaint really would be the restaurant service and organization needs attention. The pool is nice but the chaises longues and chairs are behind a hedge rather than around the pool which I found a bit odd but there may be security concerns. The room was very big with a huge bathroom and closet and although my husband complained of hearing the neighbors upstairs (perhaps an issue with the flooring insulation) I slept fine. Free parking and easy arrival was a big plus. The hotel is located 1 hour walking from the city center which we didn’t mind as it’s a pretty and suburban part of town. Otherwise the front desk can call a cab. There’s no Ubers in Cordoba which is refreshing I suppose. We thought there was a gym on site, it’s actually a 5 minutes walk but worth it because it’s huge and has every machine you can think of. Certainly beats most hotel gyms. Overall good stay”
